What is the source of this conviction?

In other words, what is the origin of the idea of God?

To this question three answers have been given.

First, that it is innate.
第一，它是与生俱来的（innate）。

Second, that is a deduction of reason; a conclusion arrived at by a process of generalization.
第二，它是理性的推论（deduction of reason）；是一个通过归纳过程得出的结论。

Third, that it is to be referred to a supernatural revelation, preserved by tradition.
第三，它应归因于一个由传统（tradition）所保存的超自然启示。
