    Yea, doubtless,
    是的,毫无疑问,

    and I count all things but loss,
    我将所有的事都视为损失,

    for the excellency of the knowledge
    为了认识的卓越性

    of Christ Jesus my Lord.
    我主基督耶稣的知识。

    THE apostle, in the preceding verse,
    使徒在前面的经文中,

    having spoken of his privileges in his unconverted state,
    提到他在未悔改状态下的特权,

    and told how meanly he thought of them for Christ;
    并讲述他为基督如何轻视这些特权;

    doth in this go out with full sail,
    在这段中,他全力以赴,

    in running down all things whatsoever,
    而贬低一切事物,

    in comparison of Christ.
    与基督相比。

    In the words.
    在这些话中。

    Consider how things weighed in his esteem.
    考虑这些事在他心中的分量。

    That which was of the greatest weight with him,
    对他而言,分量最重的,

    and was absolutely highest in his esteem,
    在他心中绝对最高的是,

    was the excellency of the knowledge of Christ.
    基督知识的卓越性。

    That is the excellency of the practical knowledge of Christ,
    即对基督的实践性知识的卓越性,

    saving acquaintance with, and interest in him.
    对他的救赎性认识和与他的关系。

    Next what was downweighed by it,
    接下来,被其贬低的所有事物,

    all things;
    就是一切事情;

    not only his good works done in his unconverted state,
    不仅是他在未悔改状态下所做的善行,

    but even these really good, done by the influence of the Holy Ghost.
    甚至是那些在圣灵的感动下所做的真实善行。

    In a word, all things imaginable, without Christ,
    总之,所有可以想象的事情,若没有基督,

    he counts loss;
    他都视为损失;

    and in comparison of Christ.
    而与基督相比。

    We have also his certainty in this matter.
    我们也看到了他在这件事上的确定性。

    He was not in doubt about this reckoning,
    关于这个账目,他没有任何怀疑,

    but with the utmost certainty was come to a point,
    而是以极大的确定性达成了结论,

    “Yea, doubtless.”
    “是的,毫无疑问。”

    We have a remarkable evidence of a superlative esteem of Christ;
    我们有一个显著的证据,显示了他对基督的极高敬重;

    namely, that whereas he had suffered the loss of all things for him,
    即,尽管他为了耶稣失去了所有的东西,

    on a review thereof,
    在回顾这些时,

    he counted himself no loser,
    他认为自己并没有亏损,

    but fully made up,
    而是完全得到了补偿,

    so as he might but win Christ.
    以至于他只要赢得基督。

    So much for a general view of the words.
    以上是对这些话的总体看法。

    More particularly,
    更具体地说,

    before we enter on the matter of the text,
    在我们进入经文的主题之前,

    we shall attend, first, to the apostle’s manner;
    我们将首先关注使徒的风格;

    and, secondly, to his grand scope.
    其次,关注他的总体目的。
